Play with the GSO

Picture
The Germantown Symphony is an all-volunteer community orchestra made up of musicians from all over the Mid-South. We are a diverse group, but we are united by our love of music. If you are passionate about playing orchestral music and want to join a group that is supportive and fun, please get in touch!

We play several classical concerts each season that feature members of the orchestra, soloists, and young artists, plus our ever-popular holiday concert. During the summer, we perform a series of pops concerts.  We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:30pm.

Strings

There are no required auditions for string players. Just bring your instrument, sit in on a rehearsal, and give it a try.

Contact Dee Walker, our personnel manager for winds, brass, and percussion, about opportunities to play with the orchestra!

Current Needs

We would love to hear from all instrumentalists, but right now we particularly need bass players and violists!
