Jacquelyn Skoog Hayner

Originally from Littleton, CO, Jacquelyn holds a Master's degree in vocal performance from Ole Miss. She has appeared internationally in various works from musical theater, to opera. In 2014 she appeared as the soprano soloist in the Paris Choral Festival and in 2015, premiered the role of Ophelia in the new opera "Hamlet: Prince of Denmark" at the Vinohrady Theater, in Prague. She has studied as a young artist in the Tyrol Opera Program and Opera Maya. Her favorite roles have included Sarah Brown "Guys and Dolls", Zerlina "Don Giovanni", Adina "L'elisir D'amore", Pirelli "Sweeney Todd", and Junie B. Jones in "Jingle Bells Batman Smells." She most recently appeared as Fran in the world premier of "Other People's Happiness" at Theatre Works, and as Philia in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" at the Harrell Theatre in Collierville. Her upcoming projects include, "Shakespeare in Love" at Playhouse on the Square, and assistant directing "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" at Germantown Community Theatre.
