GSO 2021 Concerto Competition

The Germantown Symphony Orchestra's "Virtual" 2021 Concerto Competition, was held Saturday, April 24, 2021.

The Competition is open to young pianists, guitarists, and
band/orchestral instrumentalists 18 years or younger at the time of the audition, with a home address within Shelby,
Fayette and Tipton counties in Tennessee. 

The judges of the GSO 2021 Concerto Competition chose 3 winners out of 19 excellent competitors. 
  
We applaud the commitment of all competitors for a second year of online auditions.  We also acknowledge the dedication of the competitors' teachers and families for the effort they
extended to help the competitors reach their goals.

Competition winners receive a $500 Music Camp/School or Independent Study scholarship and may perform with GSO during the 2021-22 concert season, depending on how coronavirus restrictions affect that season.
